For the best sugaring experience, arrive with clean, dry skin free of lotions, oils,
and deodorant. Hair should be about ¼ inch long—roughly the length of a grain of
rice—so avoid shaving for approximately two weeks before your appointment. If
your hair is especially long, you may carefully trim it to about ¼–½ inch, but
please do not trim it too short. Gently exfoliate 24–48 hours beforehand, and wear
loose, comfortable clothing to your visit.
For the first 24–48 hours after sugaring, keep the area clean, cool, and free from
friction. Avoid strenuous exercise, hot baths, saunas, swimming, sun exposure,
fragrances, deodorant, and intimate contact involving the treated area. Wear loose,
breathable clothing and begin gentle exfoliation after 48 hours to help prevent
ingrown hairs and keep your skin smooth. For lasting results and reduced hair
growth over time, schedule your next appointment in two to three weeks.
